Biological Activity for R 7050

R 7050 is an inhibitor of TNF-α receptor 1 (TNFR1) signaling; blocks TNFR1 association with TRADD and RIP1. Inhibits TNF-α-induced NF-κB and MAPK signaling pathway activation. Attenuates intracerebral hemorrhage-induced neurovascular injury in mice.

HL-1 cells were incubated with R 7050 (30 μM) for 30 min prior to 15d-PGJ2 (15 μM) treatments for 4 h to follow markers of apoptosis. Pharmacological antagonism of TNF receptor inhibited 15d-PGJ2-induced caspase 3/8/9 activation (shown in Image).
