Biological Activity for Thiolutin

Thiolutin is an antibiotic; inhibits bacterial RNA polymerase. Inhibits adhesion of HUVEC cells to vitronectin (IC50 = 0.83 mM) and subsequently reduces paxillin levels. Suppresses tumor cell-induced angiogenesis.
