Submit ReviewChemerin-9, Human is a potent chemokine-like receptor 1 (CMKLR1; also known as chemerin receptor 23, ChemR23) agonist (EC50 = 7.1 nM at CMKLR expressed in CHO cells). Corresponds to C-terminal of full length human Chemerin, amino acids 149 - 157. Activates Gi/o signaling pathways in vitro; inhibits cAMP production and promotes phospholipase C production and Ca2+ mobilization.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic destructive inflammatory autoimmune disease that results from a breakdown in immune tolerance, for reasons that are as yet unknown. This poster summarizes the pathology of RA and the inflammatory processes involved, as well as describing some of the epigenetic modifications associated with the disease and the potential for targeting these changes in the discovery of new treatments.
