Raw macrophages were stimulated either with LPS (200 ng/ml) or Pam2CSK4 (50 nM) for 8 h to follow TNFa concentration in cell culture medium using ELISA. Pam2CSK4 induced TNFa production and release in a similar extent as LPS.
