Biological Activity for UMB 68

UMB 68 is a GHB receptor ligand. Exhibits similar receptor afffinity as GHB (IC50 for displacement of 3[H]NCS-382 from GHB receptors is 38 μM compared with 25 μM for GHB). Demonstrates no significant affinity for GABAB receptors and does not exhibit GHB-like behavioral effects in vivo.
