Tocris Announces Collaboration with Chemical Probes Portal

Company listed as trusted vendor on Chemprobes.org website

Tocris Bioscience, part of the Biotechnology division of Bio-Techne, has announced a collaboration with the Chemical Probes Portal to help scientists find and purchase the best small molecule reagents for their research. The Chemical Probes Portal is a freely available, web-based resource that provides recommendations about which probes are best for a particular purpose. These recommendations are made by a panel of independent experts who make up the Scientific Advisory Board of the portal.

In order to facilitate access to the high quality reagents that scientists need, Tocris is now listed on Chemprobes.org as a trusted vendor, with links to the relevant pages of our website to streamline the purchasing process. Director of Business Development and Communications at the Chemical Probes Portal, Amy Donner said, "At the Chemical Probes Portal we recognize that scientists require reliable probes to generate reliable results. Our panel of independent experts provide recommendations that can assist researchers in selecting the most appropriate reagents for their research, and by partnering with companies like Tocris we can help scientists to source these compounds." Dave Peters, Managing Director, Tocris Bioscience, added, "The ChemicalProbes.org website has been specifically developed to assist scientists engaged in biomedical research and drug discovery, and we are very proud to be associated with this innovative and highly valuable resource."
