Biological Activity for AC 55649

AC 55649 is a potent, isoform-selective RARβ2 receptor agonist (pEC50 values are 6.9, 5.7 and 5.6 at RARβ2, RARβ1 and RARα respectively) that displays 100-fold selectivity versus other retinoid receptors. Inhibits proliferation of the breast cancer cell line MCF-7.
