BSI 201 is a PARP1 inhibitor. Inhibits growth of certain breast cancer cell lines in vitro. Non-selectively modifies cysteine-containing proteins in tumor cells. Inhibits ionizing radiation-induced DNA single-stranded breaks in lymphoid cell lines in vivo.
