Rats self-administered MDMA (0.30 mg/kg/infusion, i.v.). We then showed that, following extinction of MDMA seeking, discrete MDMA-associated cues reinstated MDMA-seeking behavior. Also, the magnitude of reinstatement was positively correlated with the level of responding during MDMA self-administration.
