We ordered this product, combining with another pyroptosis inhibitor NSA, to confirm the induction of pyroptosis by staphylococcal virulence factors. We have shown that NSA significantly inhibited the release of LDH by THP-1 cells treated with staphylococcal products. To confirm that tested staphylococcal product induces pyroptosis, we also used 20 uM NBC 6 to pretreat THP-1 cells before incubating with staphylococcal product. Similarly, treatment of THP-1 cells with NBC 6 also significantly decreased the release of LDH in THP-1 cells treated by staphylococcal product.
