Biological Activity for Perhexiline maleate

Perhexiline maleate is a carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1 and 2 (CPT1/2) inhibitor. Inhibits palmitate oxidation in rat cardiomyocytes and increases cardiac efficiency in isolated rat hearts. Antianginal.
