Submit ReviewBAM 15 is a mitochondrial protonophore uncoupler; uncouples oxidative phosphorylation in L6 myoblast mitochondria in vitro (EC50 = 270 nM). Does not depolarize the plasma membrane. Protects mice from acute renal ischemic-reperfusion injury.
