Biological Activity for Budesonide

Budesonide is a synthetic anti-inflammatory glucocorticoid that displays chemopreventive activity. Prevents formation of lung adenomas and adenocarcinomas in mice following inhalation or oral administration. Reverses DNA hypomethylation and modulates expression of cancer related genes.
