Biological Activity for Pam3CSK4

Pam3CSK4 is a toll-like receptor 1/2 (TLR1/2) agonist; induces production of TNF-α and IL-6 in macrophages. Stimulates phosphorylation of p100/p110 and p60 in granulocytic-differentiated HL-60 cells. Promotes differentiation of naive CD4+ T cells into Th17 cells.

Pam3CSK4 inducer works great.
By Xiaogang Wang on 06/21/2021
Assay Type: In Vitro
Species: Human
Cell Line/Tissue: differentiated human macrophages

We used 50 ng/ml of Pam3CSK4 to treat differentiated human macrophages for 2 h at 37C and measured the IL-6 production in culture supernatants of macrophages. As shown in the attached image, Pam3CSK4 treatment, but not untreated cells, significantly induced IL-6 production in human macrophages.
