Submit ReviewSNAP 94847 hydrochloride is a potent melanin-concentrating hormone receptor 1 (MCH1) antagonist (Ki = 2.2 nM, KD = 530 pM) that displays > 80-fold and > 500-fold selectivity over α1A and D2 receptors respectively. Increases neurogenesis in the dentate gyrus and decreases food-reinforced operant responding in vivo. Exhibits anxiolytic activity and is orally active.
SNAP 94847 hydrochloride is also offered as part of the Tocriscreen 2.0 Max. Find out more about compound libraries available from Tocris.
