Angiotensin AT2 Receptors
The angiotensin2 receptor (AT2) is a member of the angiotensin receptor group of G-protein-coupled receptors that also includes AT1 and AT4. They are located primarily in the brain, adrenal medulla, heart and uterus where they counterbalance the effects of AT1.

The angiotensin2 receptor (AT2) is a member of the angiotensin receptor group of G-protein-coupled receptors that also includes AT1 and AT4. They are located primarily in the brain, adrenal medulla, heart and uterus where they counterbalance the effects of the AT1 receptor. The human AT2 receptor gene has been localized to chromosome X (Xq22-q23).
