CCK2 Receptors

The cholecystokinin2 receptor (CCK2 receptor, CCK-B receptor) is a member of the cholecystokinin receptor group of G-protein-coupled receptors that also includes CCK1. They are located primarily in the brain, spinal cord and stomach and influence neurotransmission.

Related Targets

The cholecystokinin2 receptor (CCK2 receptor, CCK-B receptor) is a member of the cholecystokinin receptor group of G-protein-coupled receptors that also includes CCK1. They are located primarily in the brain, spinal cord and stomach where they play a role in anxiety, nociception, neuroleptic activity, gastric acid release, gastric mucosal cell growth and histamine release. The human CCK2 receptor gene has been localized to chromosome 11 (11p15.4).
