Biological Activity

Adenosine 5'-(α,β-methylene)diphosphate sodium salt is an ecto-5'-nucleotidase/CD73 inhibitor. Blocks ecto-5'-nucleotidase-mediated adenosine production by preventing the conversion of AMP to adenosine. Reverses the doxorubicin-resistance in ecto-5'-nucleotidase-positive MDR cells (MCF7/A6 and L1210/A). Also increases rhodamine uptake and inhibits rhodamine efflux from ecto-5'-nucleotidase-positive MDR cells. Vasoconstrictor.

Inhibited CD73 activity in TCRgd T cells completely.
By Anonymous on 06/05/2018
Assay Type: In Vitro
Species: Mouse

Perfect for inhibiting CD73 activity in TCRgd T cells. TCRgd T cells express enzymatically active CD73 on their surface. CD73 activity was detected by the converting of AMP to adenosine which was completely blocked by APCP.
