生物活性 for PMSF

PMSF is a non-selective protease inhibitor; irreversibly sulfonates key active site serine residues in serine proteases, acetylcholinesterases, and thiol proteases. Blocks metabolism of anandamide (Cat. No. 1339) in a rodent model of cannabimimetic activity. Unstable in water (t1/2 ~ 60 mins at pH 7.5). Brain penetrant.

Works well for protein isolation.
By Nicole Brown on 01/07/2019
分析类型: In Vivo
种属: Mouse
细胞系/组织: Kidney

Used to isolate protein from kidney tissue from wild type or IL-33 deficient mice that underwent cisplatin-induced kidney injury; several proteins were detected by immunoblot analysis; even after several freeze thaws, data has been consistent*additionally added a protease inhibitor cocktail and phosphatase inhibitor cocktail + RIPA for protein isolation

Does not contain phosphatase inhibitors; add these to protease inhibitor mix if analyzing phosphorylated proteins
