Haloalkane Janelia Fluor® Dyes
The Janelia Fluor® Haloalkane dyes are cell-permeable fluorogenic dyes with a chloroalkane handle. They covalently bind to HaloTag® self-labeling protein which can be used for tagging a protein of interest. Several of these dyes show a high degree of fluorogenicity following binding to the HaloTag protein, enabling wash-free imaging. They are suitable for use in live-cells, tissues and in vivo imaging, and are especially well suited to super-resolution microscopy (SRM) techniques.
