sBADA is a green sulfonated BODIPY-FL 3-amino-D-alanine (sBADA) or fluorescent D-amino acid (FFDA). Labels peptidoglycans in live bacteria. Sulfonated from of BADA with increased hydrophilicity. Excitation/emission λ ~490/510 nm.
