Biological Activity for 5-Ph-IAA-AM

5-Ph-IAA-AM is a potent and selective "Bump & Hole" TAG Degrader, for use within an auxin-inducible degron (AID2) system; it is an egg-permeant analog of 5-Ph-IAA (Cat. No. 7392). 5-Ph-IAA-AM induces selective degradation of a target protein tagged with a single-point mutant AtTIR1F79G F-box protein. 5-Ph-IAA-AM induces target protein degradation in C. elegans embryos. No developmental abnormality is observed when the embryos are treated with 50 μM 5-Ph-IAA-AM.
