cis-6-Hydroxynorketamine hydrochloride is a metabolite of ketamine. Increases AMPA receptor-mediated excitatory post-synaptic potentials in the CA1 region of hippocampal slices. Exhibits antidepressive effects in vivo.

2S,6S-enantiomer and 2R,6R-enantiomer also available.
